Irrigonics experienced engineers can carry out a Risk
Assessment in two ways :
As
a one-off independent report
As part of an on-going monitoring contract
This is an in-depth look at your water system. We take
water samples, colour photographs, and prepare a basic
schematic of your system. We investigate the size, nature,
state of cleanliness and maintenance of the system and
provide budgetary costs for any remedial works highlighted
by our report.
We provide an easy to understand professional report,
allowing you to comply with your legal obligation to
create and maintain a water hygiene and maintenance
record.

Once identified, we will make recommendations and once
authorised to do so, will carry out thorough works to
water systems to ensure compliance with all current
legislative requirements. This may range from a major
complete system cleanse and chlorination to the minor
fitting of lid vents or rodent filters.

Quality Monitoring
We carry out monitoring in accordance to L8 Approved
Code of Practice – and work in line with the legislative
requirements for monitoring Hot and Cold Water Systems.
We offer monitoring dependant on the system concerned,
a service tailored to suit budgetary constraints. We
will work with you on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly
or annual basis to ensure a watching brief is kept over
your system, and make recommendations if and when changes
occur.
The regular monitoring of water quality in both domestic
hot and cold water systems is essential to ensure that
the level of any contaminants remains below the maximum
acceptable levels recommended by current regulations.
Water Sampling & Testing
IrrIgonIcs employs five basic forms of testing :
Total Viable Count (TVC) sampling
Coliform sampling
Escherichia coli (e-coli) testing
Legionella Pneumophila (all species) sampling
Dip Slides
Laboratory analysis is undertaken by an independent
UKAS accredited or ISO 9002 Quality Assured analyst.
Any positive results are reported immediately with recommendations
and steps taken to control the problem.
